While in Gulf Shores, we attended a Breakfast with Pirates and Princesses at The Hangout. It was a fun event featuring a treasure hunt and a little skit by, of course, a Pirate and Princess. They visited each table and interacted with the kids, who were very impressed. Outside the restaurant was a big sand area with a tunnel and some other beach type games. I am not sure we would want to go to this event again, but it was great to do at least once!
Update: Randy seems to be getting an appetite back, but is still in a lot of pain. A side effect of having salmonella can sometimes be joint pain and arthiritis. It is hard to narrow it down to one cause right now. They will do more tests tomorrow and hopefully know some more answers. Keep praying for a speedy recovery. . . thank you!
