Art on the Block

Yesterday Jessica, Scott and I took the kids to the annual MACC Art on the Block event.  It was fabulous!  The kids did chalk drawings, tye dyed t-shirts, did a ceramic pot and ink printing.  The college, with community support, put on a great event which was very well attended.   For the past several years, they have been holding this in conjunction with Moberly's Railroad days. 
In the top photo, Mason literally took to the street for his drawing of "Wolverine".  He is really into super heroes, and likes to color, draw and talk about Spiderman and his peers.  A local band entertained while the artists, both young and old, enjoyed the sunshine, heat and companionship.
